Nearly
I nearly had a bronchoscopy two years ago to biopsy a lung tumor, but monitoring over two years (via CTs) de the pulmonoloigist conclude that it was benign.
Bronch uses only local deadening and should take less than an hour. Side-effects are extremely rare, and when they do occur, minor. If worried about a brief inability to speak, take a legal pad and pen to the proceedure and write instead. I had to write for 16 days while on a vent years ago, and it was no big deal.
I hope the bio is wholly negative Lacie,
