Hello,

I am sitting right now at the hospital, watching my wife, my Love, my Light fade into

darkness.

She was diagnosed over a year ago with a particularly nasty case of AML.

In the end, a nasty case of GVHD did her in.

I am surrounded by friends and family and yet, I feel alone.

I wish I could lay down with her so she might take me with her when she goes.

I apologize, I am not making sense, it’s just so painful.

I am so heartbroken! I am so angry!

THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!!

    I'm so sorry

I'm so sorry, Norman. This is heartbreaking and not fair. You're right. There's nothing I can say to make it better. All I can do is say that I feel for you. I was heartbroken 25 years ago when my mother died and I'm going to be crushed when my sister dies within months. I hope you have a close friend you can lean on, and that you do lean on him or her. You'll get through this, but that's not a particularly helpful thing to say right now. I'm sorry...
