I just started my battle with pleomorphic RMS. I hope others respond to you. Mine appeared as a lump in my leg (tibialis anterior muscle). So far I have had my first cycle of VAC chemo. I hope folks respond back as I'd love to hear survivor stories for adults, including that that may have had lung mets. Stay strong and don't give up.

Thank you. Mine is Embryonal RMS. It is rare to find adult survivors of fighters of this diagnosis. I've been looking online and i can barely find anyone. My org mass was in pelvis which was treated with radiation and i had 6 cycles of chemo already.
You stay strong too and fight it out. good luck!

Hope you are still fighting!
Hope you are still fighting! I've had three cycle of VAC now, but my lung mets continued and they have grown they are switching me to Dox and Lartruvo. No growth at my primary tumor site. My doctor is now ameniable to radiation to remove my primary tumor. Not giving up. I was lucky that my chemo side effects were mild.
