hello all,

I am 26 years old and a 22 year Wilms tumor survivor. I am currently 7 months pregnant. I have been pretty healthy post treatment and have had a pretty easy and very healthy pregnancy so far. My question is, has anyone had similar situations and had their child tested regularly for kidney tumor after they were born? my worst fear in life is my daughter suffering because I passed on this horrible thing to her. Anyone have advice on what to do to monitor your child or to test to make sure they don't have to go through what you did?

Thanks

    Try google

    amoorre,

There seems to be a lot out there if you google Wilhm's tumor and pregnancy. I am sure your gyn is already aware of your situation and if not should be. Best wishes for a healthy and happy daughter.
