Looking for tips on recovery from a open partial. I think i read on this board about stomach binders. I have had a cesection and wondering if a open partial is similar to that in recovery. I handle that surgery pretty well, but i was alot younger. Any tips well help.

Thanks again

    My husband had full lap

neph and has been using a velcro back brace when walking long distances and doing any bending etc.  Has 5 little incisions on belly and 5 inch one on right side. He said it is amazing how it holds everything together. Hope that helps a little.

I used an abdominal binder after partial

But I've never had a c-section so I can't relate to that recovery.  I highly recommend use the binder though, it made me feel like it was holding everything together when I was at my weakest.

    Best wishes,

    Donna~
