How ya doing?
I have liver cancer. I have been through where you are. I was diagnosed in 2002. I had a 20% chance of living and a shelf life of 30 days. I was put in a drug trial that I was guaranteed to get the drug. In 2005 I was told that I was done, that the drug treatment wasn't working. In 2007 I was NED, but it was a mistake. NED= no evidence of disease, a really good thing. I had a "quiet tumor". At least it wasn't eating me or causing a lot of problems. I have a rare cancer, I have no liver damage except for the tumor, I have no history of liver disease. I am on daily chemotherapy taken by pill. I have been taking it for about 3 years now. My doctor asked me to stay alive until they develop and test a drug that they feel good about beating the cancer.
