Alpha Mangostin or Mangosteen

Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with alpha mangostin or mangosteen as a dietary supplement?  It is supposed to help make 5FU more effective, at least in test-tube experiments.  https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5083978/
