Osteonecrosis?
I guess another couple months have gone by since last post . 6 months later and still no Dr seems to be able to figure out what is going on with Toms jaw . Finally today at Togus they said this is a hospital you need to go to Jamaica Plains where the specialists reside . hmmm , it took 6 months to come up with that . The Dr today said it could be a benign tumor on the nerve in the jaw or osteomylitis (sp?)When they scraped away at his jaw 6 wkd ago no one from the VA called to say they had removed part of a benign tumor ( the name of tumor eludes me at the moment) my question is where is the best place to go to diagnose this problem ? We live in Maine.
As always thank you for your help and responses .
Julia
