How do I calculate prostate volume size?

I am trying to fill out the Mayo Clinic prostate cancer calculator and they are asking for: Prostate Volume (cc). I had a CT scan after my biopsy and it says: Prostate measures 5x4.7 cm.

Can I just multiply those two figures to get 23.5? But yet those are centimeters and the calculator wants cubic centimeter.  cc vs cm. ARE THEY THE SAME THING?

Thanks,

Nick

    I doubt it

    I don't think you can calculate the volume from those two measurements. But the biopsy report should have the 3-D info. Just call the urologist if you don't have that report.

    They didn't do a 3D biopsy. I

    They didn't do a 3D biopsy. I got the Sam's Club Special TRUS biopsy.

    TRUS = prostate volume?

    I got a conventional TRUS biopsy as well. The report did show the volume. Just call the urologist.
