Port problems

I was supposed to have chemo yesterday, but it was cancelled because I was having major port problems. It was very painful and getting worse by the day. The Dr. sent me to have it out. It was a long and painful day. So, they took the port out and it is pretty sore today. I have no idea what happens next, but i have a week to heal up.  the port was only in for one week and instead of healing, it got more and more swollen, bruised, and painful. I am not sure yet whether it was infected, that takes 48 hrs. in the lab.

Thanks. I am a little wiped out, but feel better today. They may have to do chemo through my veins. I will talk to the doctor soon.
