Surgical resection
Looking for a little advice. I had a surgery to remove a 1.2 cm clear cell rcc from my right kidney. I just can't seem to get a straight answer in reference to a comment on the pathology report. The report stated "a 1.2 cm in diameter tumor disrupted in inflamed frayed external capsule". Does anyone know what this means? All my surgeon says is that its fine. I am just curious if it was disrupted during surgery if that caused problems in the futlure. Just curious if anyone has any ideas.
