Lymph node ??

Hi all! I am 7 months post op from a right partial nephrectomy. Had a CT done due to flank pain and a cyst was discovered on my left kidney Dr stated it was benign but there was a 6.6mm node found near the main vein in my right kidney. My PCP wanted to do a repeat CT scan in 8 weeks but my urologist opted for a Petscan. Anyone familiar with this issue? Is a 6.6mm node large? Should I be worried?? Thanks for any advise you can give...

Hi, KT
It's good to hear from you. The wait and see approach has to be tough, but I've read of several people that have had the same issue arise as you, and it came back as nothing. I'm hopeful that you have similar results. As you know with the size of your primary tumor, metastic activity is rare. Prayers for peace and God's grace headed your way.
