Swollen abdomen from Irinotecan?

Can Irinotecan cause noticebly swollen abdomen? After 3 rounds of Irinotecan + Erbitux my mom's belly is noticeably swollen and does not seem to get smaller. She does pass a fair amount of gas though and feels a bit better afterwards. No diarrhea at all...

I am worried if it's ascites. Going to have an appointment with the onc on this.

    Irinotecan

    I have irinotecan as part of my chemo cocktail.  I do not have a swollen stomach, but I believe the irinotecan can cause a very crappy feeling stomach with bowel issues, such as diarrhea.  And then the anti-nausea pills can cause constipation.  I fluctuate between constipation and diarrhea almost throughout the 2 wk cycle.  Not sure about erbitux, as I have avastin prior to treatment.  Yes, you should check out ascites at your next appt.  Good luck.
