New Appointment - This Tuesday
Hello everyone - Thank you again for your comments regarding my mom's uterine cancer. On Friday, the doctor who took on her case, called to tell her tumor board met, and they believe there are spots on her lungs a liver. His plan was to obtain pathology reports from her other oncologist and run additional testing that had not yet been complete (hormonal testing). The office called my mom yesterday, and set up an appointment for this Tuesday.
I do believe her new doctor will offer her treatment options. If you have been in this situation before, can you let me know what questions I should ask? Her new doctor told her trials will most likely not be an option due to her transplant (she did have transplant clinic yesterday, and her creatine levels and all other blood levels were in good shape).
Any advice is so much appreciated!
Jen
