in Anal Cancer #1

Mom went in today for her colostomy, after 9 hours we heard

back it went ok, they found spots on the vagninal wall? And remove some it, I need to get more detail tomorrow frm the doctor. Anyone have anything like this happen? Also they said she wasn't cleaned out enough and there was some contamination with stool. Just looking for input

    Since I did not have surgery, I have not experienced this.  I hope your mom's doctor will be able to give you more information today.  Please keep us posted.  I send good wishes to both your mom and you.

    Just spoke to the Drs, my dad

    Just spoke to the Drs, my dad misunderstood they had to

    graph some of the vagina wall from radiation damage, thank you so much Martha for always being there

    shes home doing as well as

    shes home doing as well as she could be I guess, very sore. The surgeon ended up talking all lymph nodes, I guess that's a good thing? She had no lymph node involvemlent as of pet scan 7 weeks ago

    Found out today they also

    Found out today they also took all her lymph nodes just to be safe. They will biopsy them just to be sure
