Today is my day to join the ranks of Nephrectomy!

Please accept my apologies. I have been MIA. This day seemed to never arrive and then it hit me two weeks ago...I found myself lost in thought and then as of last weWek was a frantic mess cooking, cleaning, making to do lists for my family to follow and so they can keep my two boys on target with school and after school activities.
Today I will say good bye to my right kidney. I hope to be of more use by being able to share my experience about the surgery and post surgery. Waiiting for lab results and staging is of course very present in my mind. I hope everyone is well and and I promise to log in and touch base with any new people in the group.
I wish you all a great day and please spare a prayer for me and my family.
Hasta luego!

Hey Bee......been kinda
Hey Bee......been kinda wondering about you since you haven't posted lately but now I TOTALLY understand. Lol
my wife, like you, was a complete "Buzz saw" the 2 weeks leading up to her surgery. When the day finally got there, we both met it head on and a few hours later we were done with it just like you will be.
prayers for you today and here's to sending that nasty tumor into the "Red Biohazard Bucket" Abyss.
big hugs.
