Swollen tongue 15 weeks post

My husband woke me up at 5:00 AM to tell me the left side of his tongue is swollen. It is on the side where he received the radiation.  Wow, just when we thought things were heading in the right direction... So, because it is a Saturday, I called the emergency oncologist on call.  He asked a million questions like: new meds? allergies? etc. and basically said to head to the emergency room if it gets worse.  Just wondering if anyone else experienced this...

We are watching carefully and will head to the emergency room if it gets worse.

"still cooking" or the "just finished cooking" syndrome.  Hopefully it didn't get worse since you wrote this??
