Emotional Mess
"You have breast cancer" is all I seemed to hear the doctor say. It was like someone had punched me in the stomach and ran away. And now I have surgery scheduled in a couple weeks and have radiation and possible Chemo to follow that. My emotions are mixed up, crying, laughing, and fear. I'm hoping to find a friend to talk to on here that can relate.

All you seem to hear...
So sorry you got this news, but now that you've gotten it, this is a good place for support. Definitely, once the c-word word gets said, it's as though you forget how to hear, let alone comprehend. The mixed up emotions are pretty normal. These were not the photos you were planning to put in your photo album, no way, no how.
Glad to hear you've got a treatment plan. Keep us posted - !
