New here an looking for help
I have had 5 surgeries on my parotid gland. The last 2 dealing with ex pleomorphic adenoma. I was told with the 4th surgery the turmor would be removed an radiation would take care of any "spillage". 6 months later thr turmor returned, thus time around the facial nerve. This happened in 2015 oct [radiation], and 2016 october.[facial nerve an full gland removal an nerve/muscle graft. Nerve an muscle were harvested from my leg. 6 months post op. Anyone have experience with expleomorphic adenoma an facial nerve grafts? Im finding recovery difficult and mentally as well as physically draining. Although ive gotten 30mm roi, im finding the residual effects of surgery anradiation scar tissue hard to maintain. Can anyonr give me a heads up to recovery time? How you deal mentally? Im isolated most of the day. I think this has its effects as well
