5 YEARS AND COUNTING

NED >> CURED >> No Cancer >> whatever you want to call it….
I reached this proverbial (post cancer treatment) milestone and I am happy to still be kicking, after my official ENT visit.
Life is certainly different (now); I have a host of new H&N friends and reminders of what has happened to me, some good, and some bad.
I guess that is it. Everyone, keep fighting the good fight. The moments we share are special in a way only a H&N member could appreciate.

Congratulations!
Congratulations Matt. Many more healthy and happy years on the horizon.
Coming up on that milestone myself. Going to get a PET scan next month. Understand about the good and bad. The good is that I'm, overall, probably the healthiest I have ever been. Really live a very healthy and active lifestyle. I had no idea how to get there before all that. *almost* worth it :-)
Cheers

Outstanding News
Matt,
I am happy to read this news, we unfortunately joined this club no one wants to be in, but we do our best. When my Surgeon told me to go buy a Lottery ticket as I was then at the 5 yr mark. I told him that I already hit the Lottery by being here today and hope to add many more Chapters to my Book of Life.
My Best to You and Everyone Here

Congrats on your reaching the most desirable outcome on this journey. Thank you for being there for everyone. Your kind words and wealth of knowledge has been a steady rock in a stormy sea of uncertainty for newcomers and veterans alike. I'm glad I checked in today to see this news. I am happy for you.

Way to go Matt..........
So glad you did the 5 years and now let's go for 20 more. You have greeted so many, and given all hope and encouragement. Your words of wisdom for all those that go through chemo and radiation, drink, drink, and drink water. That helped so many that listened, and the ones that did not soon did. Unless you have done this and fought the beast you just don't fully understand. You, my friend, are the backbone of CSN. I thank you for always being there for me, and all the others.
