Hi all. It has been awhile since I stopped in. Life has a way of getting in the way. 

I think I told you all last fall we spent a month in Costa Rica followed by a week in Panama. We came back to our daughter moving home. She has been living in England for 12 years. Unfortunately she is divorcing and came back to the states to resettle and start over. Don't get me started on the issues around an international divorce.

I will refrain from commenting on the outcome of the election other than to say for all of us we pre-existing conditions I am frightened. 

We took off and spent 2 weeks in Hawaii. We got back yesterday. Back to winter. I am really ready for summer.

I have been feeling pretty good. I feel pretty well healed from my April surgery. I still have a few food issues. I think there may be things I will never be able to eat again. But I can handle that. One can not have 19 inches of colon removed and not expect a few challenges.

My next CT scans are on March 4th. I am trying to remain positive. It never gets easier does it?

    Thanks for checking in! Good for you for having a good, long holiday and then another one! I'm scared to be very far from home in case of health issues. And we don't have the money thanks to my cancer and not working for so long. It's going to be years before we dig out of our financial hole.
