    They probably meant the entire kidney was the size of a football. That's true.

    Those guys need to be more clear when they communicate this stuff to patients.

    I was going to post the pic of it here but I thought maybe that would be in poor taste

    I think its interesting because the shape of it totally envelopes the kidney which you cant see till its butterflied open and you see the pink in the middle as its laying next to a ruler. I guess thats a gross pic to carry on your cell phone but for me its like a soldier having a bullet that was removed from him on a chain or necklace.
