Coughed up Blood

My husband had bot surgery with removal of lymph nodes on Dec 23. We are having a pet scan today and see the oncology drs on Tuesday. He says he still has a sore throat on the side of the surgery and yesterday he coughed up blood. He is only eating through a peg tube as he was in the hospital due to nausea and constant vomiting. This coughing up blood is not good, is it?

    Coughing up a little blood....

is not a rare occurence with BOT surgery....it depends on how much blood he coughed up....if it's not gushing, and it isn't everytime he coughs then it could still be coming from his surgery.

I agree with P, in fact every now and then I still do a little bleeding and I live on a PEG tube. On the

nausea if I get feeling like that I take Bonine it is normally for Sea Sickness and works better and faster with very few side effects.

It is also over the counter no prescription needed
