NED, NED, NED!!
I just got back from my oncologist....Uncle NED decided to stay for a while. Woo hoo! I just saw Todd's post of NED too! Yay, Todd!
I am having my thyroid out on the 27th...my oncologist has been concerned about my thyroid since I have had some issues with my multinodular goiter for a while, and even though it is rare for kidney cancer to spread there, he was a bit concerned. (my latest mantra has been "how many body parts does a girl need, anyway?)
He suggested going to one year checks, but since this scan was just an ultrasound, I asked for one more CT scan in 6 months just to make sure. It has only been 3 years, and with stage 3 and lymphovascular invasion....I just want to make sure.
All in all, a great day!! Let's keep those NEDs a-coming!
Hugs
Jojo
