subtotal gastrectomy
Hello I'm new here. My story is rather long but i'll give you the short version. In april of 2015 I had 2/3 of my stomach removed due to a malignant carconoid tumor. I have celiac and chronic pancreatitis and hypothyroid as well. In the last few months I feel like i'm going backwards more abdominal pain headaches and joint pain. It seems like they tell people that have surgery for weight loss how to live to prevent vitamin defiencies but if you have cancer they remove what they need to to get it all but they don't really help you figure out all the vitamin stuff. I am getting b12 shots and get iron infusions when my iron gets low enough but I know there has to be something I'm missing. Is there anyone that has any idea what vitamin supplaments I should be taking. Any help would be appreciated, Thank You so much. God Bless
