edited January 2017 in Head and Neck Cancer #1

#33 of 33 radiations and #7 of 7 chemos completed.

Initial diagnosis was made by my son, a resident in Emergency Medicine, investigating a cough.  Time from initial diagnosis to final treatment was 9 weeks.  Stage III N0 M0 HPV on my right tonsil.

I had read a variety of horror stories about Kaiser-Permanete.  I experienced absolutely nothing like that.  Both my oncolos, Dr Scott Kono for chemo, and Dr Mark Edson for rad were perfection.  Dr Edson is mid 30s and just completed a fellowship in Head and Neck cancer at M D Anderson.  i received my treatment at KP-Lonetree and Skyridge Cancer Center, Lonetree Colorado.

So, the next phase starts.
