I must admit that this is a shorter list than last year, and I am thankful for that.  Of course, with the nature of our forum, there are sadly many members who post, and when they pass, we do not get notified. We will remember those as well.

How sad. I hate seeing the list but I appreciate you sharing it. I pray that there will be no names on the list next year. Or on anycancer board's list ever again. Please let this be the year that they find a cure.

A friend's brother is in his last stage right now from a brain tumour. He's 45. His last months have been miserable. I am so sorry for the family.

    Hate seeing this

I must admit I hate seeing this list, but it is a very humble moment to read through it and remember these wonderful and kind people.  Many responded to my posts when I needed.  They are all very missed.

    While I haven't been active

While I haven't been active in years, my wife, Chrissy, passed on April 19th of 2016 -  at the age of 38, after nearly a 6y battle with colon. After 17y together, life is certainly not easy or the same, nor will it ever be again.

So many "old-timers" are gone and sadly so many new ones that have come after.

    Hello NJC

I am so sorry to hear that your wife has passed on.  I don't even want to think of how hard it would be to lose a spouse, and my heart is with you as you move forward with memories at your side.

I will add your wife to the list.

New to the site in November

My husband passed away December 22 only 7 weeks after his end stage Liver cancer diagnosis.  Although I was diagnosed with colon cancer in February, 2015, I didn't connect with this site until November this year - when my husband was diagnosed.  He got that diagnosis in the emergency room (he thought he was having a heart attack) the same day I learned that after a year cancer free, my cancer had spread to pelvic bone, liver and lymph nodes.

I'm struggling to continue chemo when I really want to give up, but I have custody of my 14 year old granddaughter and I can't quit on her.  She is my reason to keep going.  Praying 2017 is a better year for all of us.

    My most sincere sympathy

I am so sorry to hear that both you and your husband have been struck with this terrible disease, and that your husband passed so quickly.

You are also in my prayers that treatment will be successful for you and you will spend many years with your granddaughter and other loved ones.

I will add your husband to the list.
