Musculoskeletal Pain from Votrient- remedy

Hi everyone, my husband had incredible pain with Votrient which he has been on for 6 months. He was taking up to 30 mg of morphine a day. a friend of mine told me to have him take Claritin. something about histamines being released when you are on chemo. He has been taking it for two weeks now and HAS NO PAIN anymore. I am weaning him off of his morphine....down to 5mg twice a day. Crazy, but it does work, so if you are experiencing any of that, try the Claritin. Plain, over the counter Claritin once daily.
