in Head and Neck Cancer #1

first lesion biopsy was done on Oct 26 this year.  total lesion was not removed, margins not totally clear,  my tongue still hurts and burns!  2 Months later!   I'm going in the hospital Friday to have the remainder of the lesion removed and hopefully get clear margins....    first biopsy showed moderate to severe dysphasi.  Hoping to be better after this...  I'm a survivor of SCC already....

    Praying you get the clear margins

    you're in need of.  I have a feeling you're going to get them.  It sounds to me like they're keeping a good eye on you.  One day at a time....one foot in front of the other.  Fear comes from getting too far out in the future....all you have to get through is this day....tomorrow will be here soon enough.

    Biopsy done....  clear margins but boy does tongue hurt.  Week after surgery and still hurto!  Ouch!

    I am so happy the margins are clear. Hopefully, the pain will go away soon

    Good and Bad

    It makes me mad you've had to go through the C torture again.  Not fair.  But knowing you have clear margins makes all the difference in the world.  That is such good news so now I hope you don't have to suffer through much more discomfort.
