Forgot to mention you should ask your onc about side effects
I forgot to mention that your doctor or nurse should go over the potential side effects with you along with the benefits of the treatment. The clinic I go to scheduled me for a training session prior to the first infusion to go over the treatment plan and all of the potential side effects, including the likelihood of occurrence. They have all of this information and should share them with you so you can make an informed decision.
Also, I had appointments with the doctor or nurse before each infusion that included a blood draw so they could adjust the medications as needed.
