At the age of 42 I was

At the age of 42, I was diagnosed with stage 1 rectal cancer and stage 1 thyroid  cancer at the same time! Surgery was all I needed for both. I had genetic testing and found I have a chek2 mutation, so I had some preventative surgeries (double mastectomy and complete hysterectomy). I figured why take any chances because I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful 3 year old son.

    Welcome

Boy, when you do something you do it all the way!  Two at the same time...

Welcome aboard.  I hope you are NED and stay that way.  This is a good place to hang out in if you have questions, fears, need encouragement, or just about anything.
