Back Ache
Tomorrow will be 5 weeks since surgery and just started back to driving. I pulled a muscle on my right side lower back which sometimes makes my right leg ache after my first driving trip. I have been taking Tylenol which seems to help. It doesn't keep me up at night but just seems to ache during the day. Any one have this or any suggestions what else I can try? Maryanne

(((Maryanne))) For the past
(((Maryanne))) For the past 30+ years I have had sciatic nerve pain on my right side in my back. After my hysterectomy, it started on my LEFT side. I wonder if it has something to do with the position they put you in to do the surgery?
Most of the time, it didn't bother me too much and massage therapy really helped, but after the surgery I've had to take pain meds. I've been using Advil and alternating heat and cold for when I really hurt. Luckily, I have heated seats in my vehicle and my husband's so when I drive I always turn them on.
This summer I started with an acupressurist and massage therapist and when I leave there, I can stand straight with no pain whatsoever. That usually lasts about a week and then I start to feel the pain and get stooped over. I'm going every two weeks now but may have to switch it up to once a week - maybe I'll get a gift certificate for 10 treatments for Christmas - LOL!!
I hope you start to feel better soon!!!
Love,
Eldri

I had to buy a new heating
I had to buy a new heating pad today so hopefully it will help and my car does have heated seats so I used that today and it felt better. It just kind of aches and the first thing I thought of was I had a tumor somewhere. lol Goes with the territory I guess having this disease and all. My friend said it is probably because I haven't used that muscle since surgery and it isn't used to it. I would definately put the massages on your santa list!! lol Thank you Eldri! Hugs, Maryanne

Leg pain
Recently I started with pain between leg joint and hip. I had a ct scan set up to see how other things were doing and they scanned that area also. News was not good cancer is invading that area and I have a fractured left hip. They are going to treat the area with 10 external radiation treatments but was told would take a long time for the hip to heal and would continue to have pain in that area. So always best to tell doctor about the pain. A person just never knows what goes on with our body.
