Hair coloured after radiation

I have just finished sixteen days of radiation. While going through treatment and other problems with infection, I have let my hair go. In fact picture Bruce Jenner as Bruce , that is what my hair looks like. I have booked a hair appointment for tomorrow and wonder if the colouring will take. I hate to spend one hundred bucks and my hair goes a completely weird colour. Hope one of you can reply . I don't think I am the only one asking this.

thanks

    HOW DID THAT GO?

I was told by my onocologist not to mess with my hair during treatments because it is very fragile.  So I was wondering, how did that go?
