Rash during radiation treatments

Hello all--

Has anyone had a rash on their breasts during radiation treatments?  I started week #3 today.  Over the weekend I developed an itchy rash which keeps getting worse on my R breast.  The doctor prescribed triamcinolone cream.

    I did not...I used some

I did not...I used some sample cream from the cancer center. That was in 2008, so I do not recall the brand.

    Radiation Rash

Leslie, I, too, had a radiation rash and infection, which was cleared in a matter of a couple or 3 weeks . The radiiologist prescribed anti-biotics for the infection a couple or more rounds. The rash was treated with an over the counter foot fungus cream, recommended by by the medical team. It did the trick.  All is well now,  a couple of months after the end of twice daily for 5 days internal radiation, using an implant.  I hope this information will help. Best wishes to you.
