    Thanks for asking

It makes me feel good when people care, one of the many reasons I love this place.  I had the 6th round of Keytruda last Monday and still no real side effects. The one tumor in my neck, that my Onc can feel is still getting smaller and softer. I have a cough and congestion that don't want to go away, but we think it is allergies.  i go to physical therpay twice a week for my messed up SI joint.  They have me doing exercises to strengthen my hip and ab muscles.  The joint is back in alignment,  but still hurts.  I am using muscles that I haven't used for a long time.  Don't know if it is going to completely fix my joint but stomach will not be as flabby at least. There is something good in every bad thing that happens.

    Hugs and prayers, Lou Ann

So happy to hear you are

So happy to hear you are doing well and the tumor is getting smaller with no side effects.  Allergy season is the pits.  Was in church yesterday and everyone was sneezing and coughing.  Since in treatment, I had my gloves on and tried not to breath a whole lot...lol.  I did get my flu shot before I was discharged from the hospital 3 weeks ago so hopefully I will stay healthy through the winter months.  You are so right in that something good in every bad thing that happens to us.  Praying you will continue to do very well with the meds.  Hugs and prayers!! Wow, maybe this Keytruda is

Wow, maybe this Keytruda is the miracle drug for some people!  Isn't it the same drug that put Jimmy Carter into remission?

I am so happy to hear you're having a LOT of good days even with having to go through physical therapy.  I think it really helped me.

As I am typing this, I am also coughing.  I have an allergy to ragweed and suffer every fall with it.  Within a week of a hard frost, it is gone but....we are having a particularly mild fall and no hard frost yet here in east central Wisconsin.  Hopefully the allergy will clear up, the tumors will continue to shrink and you will have MANY more good days than bad!!

    Love,

    Eldri

Glad to see that the treatment is helping and side effects are not an issue!  Just got my MRI results of my left hip and I too have some SI joint issues (along with trochanteric bursitis with associated a tear of the left gluteus medius tendon attachment to the greater trochanter).  I too am doing PT to strengthen the hip,  glute and abdominal muscles.  Definately using muscles that haven't had this type of workout recently.  Hope it is helping you!
