Still have scalp sensitivity 5 years after chemo
After five years since my chemotherapy for breast cancer, I still suffer from scalp sensitivity some to the point of pain. Sometimes the discomfort is brought on by temperature changes, at times even a gentle wind blowomg my hair hurts. I'm wondering if anyone else is also going through this and what steps you may have taken that provide relief. I've thought of buying a silk pillowcase as that may reduce friction. I feel at such a loss because when it's bad, like today, it is unrelenting and I feel my nerves are frayed and feeling out of sorts. I've many good days, yes for that I am SO grateful, but on days like today the sensitivity is actually painful. I'm at my wits end, when will this stop? Please let me know if you're also experiencing this and how you've handled it. Thank you so very much for taking the time to read this. Looking forward to responses.
