I get my port installed on Wednesday and my first chemo is Friday :).  Oddly I'm excited to get started.  Since my cancer live through carbo/taxol, my doctor is being cautiously optmistic, we should know by December/January if the chemo is working.

    doxil

just a word of encouragement.  I have had 2 infusions of Doxil after a resistance to carbo/taxo developed and then gemcitabine failed to lower the CA 125. There has been a slight lowering of the cancer marker after just 2 doxil treatments.  Just as important I am feel very good. There has been no side effects for me.  Hopefully it will work for you too.  Best wishes for your journey.
