Seeing that old post made me cry instantly.
So many people on there that are missed.

Indeed
Vickilg was one of the first people to pass that I 'got to know' when I first joined. You know, she and Doc Hawk passed on the same day, and I always wonder if they got to meet somewhere on their journey home.
Yeah, it is hard to see those names and faces. So many lost.

Yes, bittersweet!
Does anyone know anything about janderson (Jeff)!
Laz
The last time Jeff wrote on Facebook he was really struggling. He hasn't posted in a while, which is terribly worrying.
He's a fighter, and he's much loved, here and on Facebook. Keep him in your prayers, thoughts and whatever else sends good vibes his way.

Me Too
i did not check the date and read the post. Was going to relate my surgery of about 10 days ago for a lung met. Then realized as I saw other posts. it was seeing Craig, one of the people I initially spoke with here, coupled with the realization I have the same thing. But there is also the bittersweet aspect.
But the whole thing hit me like a ton of bricks and had to step off for a day or so.

I hardly come on the boards
I hardly come on the boards anymore because I've been in a depression but I wanted to check on everyone so I popped on. I'm in the anger trying to get to acceptance stage of this APR/ostomy so I tend to stay off for the most part. I saw the post and I thought awww Vicki=) But everyone in one place like that was very overwhelming. You guys have come to be an important part of my life and I've never even met any of you in person. I'm greatful to have found this board and such a caring group of people. And as Pepe always reminded us with his posts about living....what are you doing this weekend?.......spending time with my entire family at my daughter's house warming. Keep on fighting and keep on living. Love to all, Helen
