So will be a little scarce for a bit.  Some "Ah ^&^# not again" happening right now.  Just getting ready to get my butt out of bed ASAP and doing those wonderful MSK laps to get released quickly.  (You all taught me that the last time through Laughing)

    Will be thinking of you.

I know how you're feeling. The dread of going back into surgery balanced with the desire to get things sorted. You will do well, and I will look forward to hearing good news from you when you are feeling ready to post or message again.

    Cyber hugs!

I'll be following in your footsteps soon!

Leave breadcrumbs on the trail for those MSK laps!  Mine start on Wednesday.  Somehow, I don't think I'll be getting out of bed on Tuesday, with surgery lasting up to 9 hours!

Good luck and may your surgeon's hands be steady and true!

I hope you're up and around

I hope you're up and around much sooner than you think you'll be and then home and comfortable. Best wishes!

    About To Get Released

Got out of bed ASAP after surgery.  Probably two hours after being bought to rocovery.  Remembered the drill last time.  :)   It was malignant, now just waiting to see if met or new.  Amazed how much easier it was this time.  Thoughts with you Alice, dropping the breadcrumbs for you for a quick recovery.

    And It Is A Met

Pathologu confirmed it is a met to the lungs.  It has been on the scans since the beginning, but it seems chemo kept its growth at bay.  Going to meet with the various docs on options.  They are all optimistic and the oncologist said (before confirmation) that he is leaning to not doing more chemo, it has done what it will and probably will just monitor as compared to putting me through that.  Will see if something changes in his thought process when I see him.

(John23, been going through lists of TCM practioners in my area.  Found a couple that specify cancer in their scope of practice.  Going to make some calls.)
