Hi everybody, I am not on this often, but would like to thank everyone for their input. Especially, Martha.I went in for my one year scope last week and my surgeon said NED. Pretty frightening minute of silence waiting for her to tell me that. Next time I hope she doesn't use a 2x4 lol. Take care everybody!

Great News, thank you for sharing. I certainly know what you mean about the 2X4. I was recovering from radiation and my radiologist wanted to examine me I told him if you let me examine you, and he turned so red. I felt I had enough drs checking things out. I have been ned since 6-30-2009.

Congratulations on your wonderful news! It is always so encouragingto hear of others good follow-up reports. And, yes, I agree on that awful long moment of silence while waiting to hear.
I wish you a long lifetime of many good reports.

Hello and congratulations on getting such great news! That is fantastic and I am very happy for you! No need to single me out to thank me, as I think everyone on this board is very supportive, but I greatly appreciate it! This is a fantastic group of people, as you know by now. I wish you all the very best, continuing NED always, and NEVER an exam with a 2x4! Take good care, my friend!

There is no modesty with cancer! Having all the young girs who ran the radiation position me on the table as I lie nakede from the waist down was initilly hard to take. Being NED since 2011 was worth it!!!

I am sorry that you were treated with such disregard by radiology techs. This was inexcusable! I had pelvic radiation for AC & my private parts were covered.
