    Hi, Meds --

    CKD isn't exactly our area of expertise, (1) this being a board about kidney cancer and (2) us not being medical experts, not to mention (3) chronic kidney disease has lots of nuances in individual circumstances and treatment options.  Best to have a chat with your physician about this.  Even the boxes of sodium bicarb say to be careful using the stuff (and they're not talking about making Irish Soda Bread).
