moving assistance and furniture donation

My brother was recently diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer with mets to kidneys.  He lives in a very modest 2 bedroom apartment, but will be moving in with relatives while he undergoes treatment.  He resides near Akron, Ohio and we are searching for moving services to pack his personal belongings (clothes, books, movies, and misc. items) Does anyone have a recommendation on a full service moving company to box up belongings and move to new residence (under 1 mile away).  Also, are there certain organizations that we can donate his furniture where they will pick up on-site?  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!
