I made it!
Hey all,
We made it to the beach!!! It was brief but I got to put my feet in the ocean! I just let myself cry. All the stress of the last 4.5 months was there. The ocean has always been therapeutic for me, this time was no exception. I need to catch on reading.

I breathe...foxhd said:Inhale,
hold your breath, exhale. Say "Ohmmmm". I have a small wooded area at home. Overlooking a golf course. That is my sanctuary. Beach would be better.
I breathe sitting on a porch swing by a tree, some dirt, and a bird bath. Even that works!

healing
The beach is very healing. Happy you were able to go. Last summer I was able to spend a week at Daytona Beach in a ocean front room. It was so wonderful. This summer I spent a week at a friends in Gulf Breeze, FL. My entire body felt better there.
