Confirmed Colon Cancer on Liver After 13 Years of NED [Dad]

Hi All, It was confirmed through a needle biopsy that the spot on my dad's liver that showed up on the PET scan is colon cancer.  I am sad, but we're in good spirits and ready to fight!  

The surgeon wants to be sure of the size and location so I believe he will need a MRI or CT, but first the surgeon has to get in touch with dad's kidney doctor to find out about the contrast since dad's kidneys aren't the best.  Prayers are appreciated and know that you all are in mine.  Best, Michele

    That is a blow! After so many years NED. 

    I hope they have caught it really early, and the pesky leision can be taken care of quickly and effectivly.
