Radiation follow up today

I saw my RO for a 1month follow up today.  I was surprised to hear that I have a fever (100.8).  It seems there is no related reason for this - he said he would give me an antibiotic, but not knowing what needs to be treated, I came out without one.  I will monitor over the next few days.

i also mentioned that I have what feels like pressure in the back of my head on one side, and I have had several "whoa!/ dizzy episodes.  Noticed this after beginning armidex.  Also planning to go back to work, dealing with stress regarding non-cancer family issues, etc can not help.  Again, monitor and mention to MO when I see him in September.

Just when you think everything is over - more than a year for Dx, chemo, surgery, radiation- there are still issues.  I suppose I am one of those who wonder what is happening now that treatment is done.  I am sure once I see all of my specialists, get my Survivorship Plan and first post-treatment mammogram I will feel more comfortable.  I like when one doctor asks you when you are seeing another, and you are left in limbo.

thanks for listening - I am leaving on Sunday for 2weeks of well deserved vacation.  The only C issue I will deal with is the Armidex each day.  Like the athletes in Rio, I will move through any pain and enjoy my time away!  Hope all of you can take some ME/FAMILY time as well!

Blessings,

Kathy
