Healing from port

in Breast Cancer #1

port was put in sat. Tomorrow I have chemo.I find out what it's like for them to use port.still sore so hope it don't hurt.

    Hello,

    It's funny I thought the same thing when I got my port & it actually didn't hurt much most of the times I went to chemo. I have finished chemo and my port was removed a couple weeks ago. The spot where it was actually hurts more than it did when it was in. 

    Good luck and don't worry too much... You'll he getting it removed again before you know it~ Lori

    Definitely easier than a needle in the arm. Did they give you lidocaine cream to numb it? If not, ask for it.
