So the 2nd ultrasound by my

So the 2nd ultrasound by my gyno was a bit hopeful. They don't think the polyp itself is cancerous, but they do feel the need to do am endometrial biopsy/D and C. I have 16mm lining and it's patchy and thick and they said it's probably Andenomyosis, but are concerned about uterine cancer. My pre--op is monday. I don't know when the actual surgery will be. I'll let you guys know after the pathologist report is finalized.

    Good luck on Monday

cprom, good luck with the pre-op on Monday. Hopefully they can schedule the biopsy/D&C quickly after that. The cancer cells that came from my D&C is how my doctor found the tumor. I'm thankful that it was found at an early stage. Hopefully your pathology report will be clear and your doctors can focus on treating your symptoms.

On an unrelated subject, I've been meaning to ask if the artwork you use for your photo was drawn by you? It's really wonderful. My mother was a visual artist and my daughter inherited that talent from her (it jumped WAY over me). I've always been in awe of anyone with that type of talent. Kim

    Got news?

I've been away from this site for a while and just tuned into your post. I also got the cancer news 5:00 on a Friday so it was a haunting weekend when I could "feel the metastisis all over my organs!"  I moved mountains and by the next Tuesday was meeting with a surgeon. Had the DiVinci in a few Weeks.  The WAITING was the most agonizing part.

let us hear your results. Whatever the outcome, your sisters are here waiting to respond. Holding you in my heart.

Also waiting the results for Cpromiset..  how are you???

    Had a hysteroscopy, a D and C

Had a hysteroscopy, a D and C, and polypectomy yesterday. The doctor never came by to talK to me or my spouse post-surgery. She hasn't even called today even though I left a message. Woke up crying and in serious pain once the anesthesia wore off yesterday and the nurse gave me pain meds. It's sort of patient abandonment. I don't know how it went, what she found....nothing. it really upset me. As if she didn't care. Still have to wait 3 more days for the pathology report.

    Wow

So absolutely no contact w/ either you or your spouse post surgery.. nothing from anyone?  I have never ever heard of that...   I would inundate him w/ either calls or visits from my spouse until I got some info (how many lymph nodes, any problems etc).  Check at the hospital and see if there is a patients advocate and see what can be done.  I am sorry for you and the position you are in.  I have truly never heard of such a situation.

that your doctor didn't at least touch base with you or your spouse afterwards, even if just to say that the procedures went well, at a bare minimum.  That's very odd.  Here's hoping she does get back to you soon with the pathology results.  Waiting is the pits.

Wow, that is really bad that

Wow, that is really bad that your surgeon didn't at least touch base with your spouse post surgery. Unacceptable.

I sure hope you go to someone else if you do end up needing a hysterectomy!

Hope you are feeling better today and that you get good news on your report. Come back with any questions and please keep us updated.

    Love and Hugs,

    I remember waiting for my

I remember waiting for my pathology report the last day at the hospital.  They didnt want me to go home until a doctor read the report.  It was so hard to wait.  I was all alone that day and i had know idea when to tell my sister or mom to come pick me up. I wanted them to be there when the doctor came to talk to me and they just didnt know when the doctor would be there.

Hang tough.  You will find that you are so strong as you do this stuff.  I dont know you very well but i surtainly believe in you.

My dr told me he would not be

My dr told me he would not be available the day after my surgery, but that his associates would be in. Unfortunately I was so out of it that I didn't ask the questions that I would have. Where I live we rarely get pathology reports any sooner than 2 weeks :( Waiting is so hard and as specially that your doc didn't speak with you after. I'm so sorry.

You need your energy to heal!

Glad to hear that the nurses finally called you. Try not to worry too much about what is on the path report. Let your doctor do that. You need your energy to heal. It will all be okay.

Wishing you peace and strength, Kim
