Just thought I would share good news and express my heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you.  Today, after 12 months of treatment ( chemo, shingles, surgery, radiation) I am going to end this battle!  I realize I am actually just moving on to the hormone therapy phase, but now I will be in control of my life once again.

For those just at the beginning of the fight, attitude is everything; don't let the SE and delays bring you down.  For those who had finished treatments, I can not thank you enough for sharing your experiences, wisdom, and get tough advice.

I will continue to be a part of this wonderful community for the rest of my life.  I feel this is a bond that can be shared only with those who have "been there, done that."  For now, I am going to get ready to be back in my classroom, but first . . . I'm going to Disney World!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yah!  Congratulations.  I too start the Herceptin next week for a year.  OMG, chemo was rough, but I fought like a girl and made it.  Praise God!

    with all my dates of misc

    with all my dates of misc tests, surgeries etc..the only one i remember is my last treatment date...6/28/08
