Pathology report...

I believe I have reason to be happy, but of course still a little nervous. My pathology came back and it is considered T1A clear cell renal cell carcinoma, 2.0 x 1.5 x 1.4 cm, grade 3. Tumor confined to kidney, margins negative, no lymphovascular invasion.
Only thing that worries me is the grade 3, but both doctors said staging at this point is more important than grade at this early of a stage. He said he is not concerned with reoccurrence. Sure hope he is right
I have a MRI scheduled in 6 months. Thank you all for your support during this trying time. My incision is still healing on my lower stomach where the drain was. He looked at it today and said it looked good, Would just take time to heal.
God bless you all xoxoxo

Grade 3 not a big deal
If you look at the prognosis vs grade,, there is minimal difference between grades 1, 2 and 3. The areas of concern are Sarcomitoid and Necrosis. Eith would put it at grade 4, and would have a significantly worse prognosis -- but honestly, if it is growing fast enough for either of those, it would be much bigger than 2x1.5 x1.5
