    PEG

Everybody's experience is different. I had a PEG inserted prior to treatment. For me, it was the most miserable part of the entire experience.

I got it because I was told that my throat would get sore and I wouldn't be able to swallow. That never happened to me. My throat never got sore and I never had an issue with swallowing.

I ended up never using the peg. It was always in the way. It was painful to have it installed.

If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't get one. But that's me. Your mileage may vary.
